Cookie information

This page describes the current beta implementation. It should be reviewed together with the Privacy Notice before a broad public or paid launch.

1. Current use

Comrade does not currently use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. The application uses technically necessary browser storage to keep account sessions, settings, synchronized movie data, and temporary application state.

2. Browser storage

Depending on the feature used, Comrade may use local storage, session storage, and IndexedDB. These technologies help retain settings, support authentication, store synchronized catalogue data on the device, and keep temporary state while the application is running.

3. Essential third-party services

Supabase, Cloudflare Turnstile, Stripe, Ko-fi, Vercel, and Plex may use technically necessary storage or cookies when their services are requested. Their storage is governed by their own documentation and policies.

4. Managing stored data

You can remove site data through your browser settings. Removing essential storage may sign you out, clear locally synchronized information, or require Comrade to rebuild application data the next time you use a feature.

5. Future changes

If Comrade introduces non-essential analytics, advertising, or behavioural-tracking technologies, this information and any required choices will be updated before those technologies are used.
