Successful Plex authorization immediately links that Plex identity to your signed-in Comrade account. Library discovery and sync happen afterward.

If the server is temporarily unreachable afterward, the verified account link remains available in Admin → Plex Links.

What should I avoid during setup?
  • Do not sign in with several Plex accounts just to test them.
  • Keep this page open only until Comrade confirms the background job is queued.
  • Do not choose an old, offline, or duplicate Plex server.
  • Only one library sync can run per account.
What if Comrade finds the server but cannot reach its libraries?
  1. Sign out of Plex and sign back in with the same account.
  2. Switch Plex to a remote connection and confirm the library opens.
  3. Return to Comrade and select Refresh sources.
  4. Choose the correct source and run the sync again.

Use the Plex account that has access to the shared library. You do not need to own the server.

Not signed in to Plex

Click Sign in with Plex. Comrade will finish the connection automatically when you return.

Use one Plex identity per Comrade account

Signing in with another available Plex identity changes the automatic link. An identity already linked to someone else remains blocked until an administrator reviews it.

Start by signing in with Plex. Sources will load automatically after sign-in.

Clear local library data

This removes Comrade's synced movie cache from this browser. It does not delete anything from Plex.
