Does Comrade store my Plex password?
No. Plex authentication is handled by Plex. Comrade stores only the protected connection information required for features you authorise.
Does Comrade provide or stream movies?
No. Comrade helps you use libraries you already have permission to access. Playback remains in Plex.
Can I use a shared Plex library?
Yes, when the Plex account you connect has permission to access that library. Comrade never bypasses the server owner's Plex permissions.
Is Server Owner part of Core?
No. Core is the personal cinema experience. Server Owner is a separate management tool for people who operate Plex servers; it does not become part of Core.
What should I try if Comrade finds my server but cannot reach its libraries?
Sign out and back into the Plex app, switch Plex to a remote connection, then return to Comrade and sync or refresh Plex again.
Is Comrade finished?
Comrade is in active alpha development. Features and interface details can change while reliability and account safety are tested.
